Roots Hair Reviews

I’ve been seeing Lisa since I was a pre-teen. The staff is always so kind, friendly and talented. I wouldn’t trust anyone else for my hair or other services! The women that work at roots truly treat you like friends and family

I stopped here after the salon I was at did my hair for a friends wedding and it started falling out. I instantly saw Michele and she fixed it without having to take it all apart. They were absolutely amazing and even told me to come back for my own wedding next year and they’d make sure I was taken care of. Thank you Michele. I will definitely be back.

My sister came in for a walk in appointment the day before her junior year. Faith did an amazing job cutting off her dead colored ends and caring for her curls. The pictures I have do not do justice. Will be returning in future.

I tried this salon because I wanted to treat myself on my birthday; I rarely style my hair as I have to wear it up for work, but I knew that I wanted lots of layers with long side-swept bangs. I showed reference pictures and indicated that I wanted the shortest length of my bangs to still touch my eyebrow. When Michelle cut my bangs while wet, they were all well above my eyebrow- they continued to get shorter as they dried, and even shorter when she took a straightener and curled the ends of them under. When she asked how I liked it when she finished, I told her that I was fine with the length of the rest of my hair, but my bangs were much shorter than what I was hoping for. She just said “oh, they’ll grow out quickly. Just tell me next time that you don’t want them that short”, like I hadn’t already communicated my preferences with her and that it was on me. I am pretty forgiving and recognize that hair will grow back, but I was really disappointed with her response and lack of effort to try to make it right. I’ll wear hats in the meantime and make an appointment elsewhere next time.

I love this place. The atmosphere is inviting and very clean. I have gotten the lift and tint on my eye lashes by Jordyn. She even goes the extra mile and has a heated bed for when you go for the lashes. She ensures that every lash comes out perfect and I always leave loving what was done. She is also good at educating you on after care for your eyelashes. Amazing experience and I always look forward to my next appointment
